Charmed, I'm sure.

http://www.jameshill.tv/

Again, not sure how I stumbled upon thissun, but loving all things kitsch, I was charmed. It's a snapshot of this guy's work, and it's the not the work ITSELF I like, simply the presentation! Fun, kitsch and charming.

JSA.

Although a friend of a friend, I'm not sure how I found this site. I can only think of a click, click, click from Facebook, to blog to blog to website. You know how it goes. Anyway, I like his stuff. It's all quite cheeky yet taken very sympathetically and sensitively to the subject matter.

Illustration inspiration.

Nothing particularly innovative about this artist/illustrator, just rather nice.

Tarantino film posters.

Love these film posters. Innovative, simplistic, subtle, yet extremely striking. I admire the way the designer has turned his back on today's norm of pushing the famous faces over the concept of the film itself. This simple, graphic and conceptual approach with muted tones reminds me very much of one of the pioneers of film poster design, Saul Bass. It's getting back to basics - and I like it.
